The Wind in the Willows Suite

I originally published The Wind in the Willows Recorder Book in 1987 (London: Methuen). I have now made an orchestration of the 10 pieces to form a 'Suite' for small orchestra, which should be ideally suitable for good School ensembles to perform. Here below are the direct links to Noteflight, where the scores can be seen while the music plays, and from where the full scores and parts can be printed as .pdf documents.

No.1 Summer Breezes by the River

No. 2 The Mole's Spring Jig

No. 3 Ratty's Boating Song

No. 4 In the Wild Wood

No. 5 Badger's Ground

No. 6 An Old Time Carol

No. 7 The Toad-Hog Galop

No. 8 The Piper at the Gates

No. 9 The Sea Rat's Hornpipe

No. 10 'A Toad he went a'pleasuring'

NB. Each piece will open in a new window. In performance, No. 1 may be played a second time to round off the Suite nicely.
